The panel is made from aircraft guage aluminium and powder coated for a long life. the base is made from reconstituted plastic and is heavy enough to keep it from blowing away down the road and getting lost or damaging passers by or property like parked cars.
You can drill holes in the panel or the base and thread a chain/bike lock through if you are worried about theft.
